Day Two - Dubai to Sydney

I did not care for Dubai, I know it is my prejudices but I hope they saw my red ribbon on my jacket for HIV awareness and I hope they saw the book I was reading on homosexuality.  I will park that there.

Back on the plane and someone was in my seat. Obviously chancing their luck. They moved. And so the 14 hours commenced. Qantas are very good, I would recommend them. You are fed, watered and cared for. They are always coming round with snacks and water and then at some point they induce sleep by turning off all the lights and closing the blinds on the windows. I did sleep, on and off a couple of times.  Not brilliant but let's face it, I do not sleep well at home so this should be no different.

I watched a couple of things on the entertainment.  I do this every time, watch bits of films as I fall asleep.  So not much else to report really, just 14 hours of my life I will not get back.

Arrived in Sydney on a sunny Tuesday morning (lost Monday totally). It dawned on me that I have seen more of Sydney airport than I have my Meg in the last six years - sad but true.  Went to the toilet and freshened up and took a couple of paracetamol and got some juice and checked my emails and had a chat with Andy on messenger.

So it is time to move on now for my last flight. This one is around 4.5 hours I think.  I will try to stay awake now so that I am in the time zone. There will also be more pictures once I have arrived in New Zealand and figured my phone out.

See you in New Zealand.

As always, with my love x
